About us
An independent alternative to TruckersMP.
EuroTruck Multiplayer is an independent project building a new multiplayer mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is developed in Portugal.
What we are building
A multiplayer mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 that puts you on the same roads as other drivers.
The project is at an early stage. There is nothing to download yet.
Why the code is closed
The code is not public. That is a security decision.
In a multiplayer mod, public code makes it easier to write cheats and to attack the servers. Keeping it private protects the people who play.
Why an alternative
TruckersMP has been the way to play Euro Truck Simulator 2 online for years. We think the community is better served when it has more than one option.
This is an independent project. It is not connected to TruckersMP in any way.
Who we are
Euro Truck Simulator 2 players and developers from Portugal, building the multiplayer we want to play ourselves.
Where we are
In development, with no release date yet. This site will be updated as the project moves forward.
